Been getting a lot of spam comments on posts, even dating back to last two years. Spam selling everything from Viagra to headless ponies (ok i made that one up, but it could happen). Very Very annoying.
Does anybody else have this problem? Any remedies? Otherwise i'll have to start setting comments to display only after approval, which again creates more work for me, bah...
I've noticed the problem on a lot of Blogger blogs lately... And most of the spam seems to be coming from China (Chinese characters)... possible repercussions of the Google-China fallout? ;) The only remedy I can think of is word verification, but I'm not sure how effective that is.

yeah happened to me too - and then I put on word verification. Its worked so far
