Morphing Phones

This is for all those mobile phone nuts out there. Getting tired of that same old solid phone designs? Well how about a phone that can be stretched, shrunk, twisted or whatever your little heart desires. This new concept phone called the Morph by Nokia might just be the thing for you.

The secret behind this stretchable, flexible gadget is nanotechnology. This is a branch of science which focuses on controlling matter on an atomic level. It is a highly multidisciplinary field and can be seen as extending existing science into the nanoscale.

More information here…

One aspect of nanotechnology is that it allows to create materials and components that are flexible, stretchable, transparent and remarkably strong. Hence the Morph phone made out of these materials can be stretched and bent as you please.

Of course this is only concept models. Whether it'll go to production is a question only time will answer.

Check out Nokia.com for more details on this.
